A week or so ago Dan and I took the little one to the park. Thus far, it has been such a beautiful Fall in Ohio and we try to get out as much as possible. Melrose couldn't love the outdoors anymore so it is a bonus that we are getting this sweet weather.
So, we go to the park with Melrose and bring the littlest girl (our Chihuahua Rigby!). The two of them are running around like crazy, loving the leafs and the bright sun.
Melrose, like the cute little 15 month old she is, will sometimes obsess over a certain object or toy. The day at the park she became enthralled with Rigby's leash. She had to hold it. We couldn't touch it. It was not to be folded up in a nice pile for her to carry. It was to be drug behind her in the mud with her walking at about .000000000000000000038478 miles per hour.
I snapped this picture while Dan was attempting to 'walk' Melrose.
I love this picture! Is the parent leading the child or the child leading the parent? I will give you one clue: the ruler of our household stands at less then 3 feet tall.
