I Heart Faces: Excited!

The husband and I celebrated our two year anniversary this past weekend. That's right, you heard me right. Two years. Almost two kids. A little bit of craziness.

We went away for the weekend to Port Clinton (right on Lake Erie) and left the love bug at home with her grandparents. It is tough leaving her for two days, but we kept on telling ourselves that it is good for us (and her) to have a little time away. And I have to admit, it was nice.

Friday was spent driving up there, eating and then sleeping. Ahhh. How nice.

Saturday was Put-in-Bay, naps, eating, movie watching and then sleeping. Happy happy!

Sunday was breakfast and back on the road to see, with lots of anticipation, our little Melrose. Yay!

We had a wonderful day on Sunday with the little one- taking her to the Pumpkin Festival. She ran around like a crazy woman. Tripped and did a complete front flip (and survived). Pet the animals at the petting zoo. Got head butted by a goat (she didn't get hurt so it was fairly hilarious). And back home for mom and baby to take a two hour nap. We were exhausted!

So all-in-all a wonderful weekend. I'm a bit tired today, but hey, what can you do? It was all worth it for the fun times we had.
