Sitting here, 80% effaced and 2 cm dilated as of last Thursday. Baby is low. Like, real low. I'm feeling all sorts of interesting pains and weird sensations. It is the final countdown. I'm waddling around like the big hot mess that I am. I'm ready to not be pregnant anymore, but then again don't want to rush back into the no-sleep-zone so quickly. Hmmm.
I'm so jealous of Melrose and the cousinly love she gets. She has 4 cousin, all of them within 2 years of her. Lucky! I never had ANY cousins close to my age. Cry me a river, I know. I'm just so happy that she is going to have an experience I never got. For Dan's birthday party last night we gave all of the dirty little ones a bath. Melrose got to bathe with Jakey and Lilly. It was a party in a tub. She was unsure of it at first, but then loved it after realizing how much fun it could be.
