I went a little crazy last night.

So I never go out. Ever. If I do it is having dinner with the husband and then coming home early to either watch TV or watch a movie. That is a normal crazy night for me. Not last night though. Oh no, not last night.

I decide to go out with my friends and have a *few* beers on Coventry. Eat some food. Laugh. Sounds like a good plan. Well, somehow a few beers turned into about 7 (although I can't really verify that) and coming home around midnight turned into coming home around 4am.

BUT. It was for good reason.

We had to go to Steak N Shake for a Frisco Melt and fries. Super important.

On another news front, last weekend we had to take Melrose to the Emergency Room. Sunday was hot. Like 80 degree plus hot. We decided to go for a walk in town and find a nice shaded grassy area to sit and relax. It was very nice.

Until.

We were walking back to the car and little girl's face was blotchy, swollen and her eye was watering like crazy. We put her in the car and Dan sat in the back seat so he could wash her face with water and get off whatever was irritating her skin. By the time we got to my parents it had gotten about a million times worse and through a conversation with the nurse on call realized that she needed to go to the ER. She had swelling near her mouth and nose which is very scary and considering my allergies, I knew we didn't want to mess around with it.

So off to the ER to find out it was probably the sunscreen that she is allergic to. They didn't give her anything and just monitored it until it started to subside and sent us home. All in all a not-so-bad trip to the ER (if that is possible). We were in and out in an hour and little girl was feeling much better.

We still had fun at the park though!
