Sleeping help! (calling all moms)

So here is the story....

My little monkey is 4 1/2 months old. She goes to bed every night at 9pm like clockwork. Some nights she will sleep all the way through the night and wake up around 5am for a feeding and go back to sleep until 7am. Some nights she will want to be fed around 2am and then wake up for the day around 7am.

The nights that she sleeps until 5am, she usually will stir around 2am and I will give her the pacifier and right back to sleep she will go. The nights when she wakes at 2am for a feeding, I will attempt to give her the pacifier, but she says, "Hell no" and insists on being fed.

I know she can sleep through the night without a feeding, but I'm not sure how to ween her off of that 2am bottle. I have tried putting the pacifier in her mouth over and over and over and if I delay the food too long she throws a shit fit and will start screaming like she was poked with a hot iron.

I know at this age they can start to manipulate you a bit (or so says the pediatrician), but I am not going to let her scream her lungs out in her crib either (ped didn't suggest that, but I have other people who tell me I should).

Anything work for you blogger moms out there?

I really don't mind waking up with her, but I would like to get her on a consistent schedule and the back and forth of sleeping through the night versus 2am feeding is throwing a wrench into the mix.
