This week's challenges over at I Heart Faces are funtastic! They are breaking the mold with doing a pets category ::::gasp:::: and not requiring any people faces.
For this one I knew just what picture to use. My parent's beloved yorkie, Sparticus (Sparky for short), passed away a year ago. He was diagnosed with some kind of kidney disease and was in so much pain. They had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep. :( About a year before this I went on a vaca with the 'rents and my friend Kim to Florida. There was a dog beach that we took Sparky and his brother Rockafellar (Rocky for short) too. They beyond loved it. Sparky was so funny with the water. He would run in, get scared, run out and then insist on rolling around on his back in the sand. Then would repeat this over and over. By the time we left he looked like a little Shake 'N Bake chicken- coated with sand that looked like breadcrumbs. So this is little Shake 'N Bake Sparky.

I love to NOT look at the upcoming challenges and then post photos that are perfect for the upcoming challenges about a week early. Idiot! This is what I did with this photo. I posted it about a week back in just a random blah blah blah posting, but now am posting it again to enter into the contest! (First time entering it into the I Heart Faces contest though, just to clarify, so you don't think I'm breaking the rules!)

It is of my niece who turned three a few weeks ago. This photo is her looking on to her yummy and colorful Spongebob birthday cake. Sooo excited to blow out the candles and so excited about her birthday. From what I can tell, three years old is when kids start to 'get' things. She definitely 'got' that it was her birthday and loved every second of it.
Go look at other neato burrito photos at I Heart Faces!
*Please note I wrote this blog after taking two Benedryl so don't blame me if it doesn't make any sense!
