I'm going cr-A-zy with my sewing machine.

I was recently informed that fleece makes an excellent diaper cover (who would of known that it is water resistant without any prep?!?). So off to JoAnn Fabrics I went to buy two yards of yellow and pink anti-pill fleece to use with my new soft, fancy and oh-so-cool prefolds.

Now, let me be honest, I was scuuurred (translation: scared) of prefolds. I don't know why either. I guess whatever you get used to and try first, you just feel more comfortable with. Thus is the case with my bumGenius diaps. Using them is a no brainer for me or my husband and to think of trying anything else was kind of freaking me out a bit. (As you can see I spend way too much time and effort thinking about diapers).

Thankfully, I was shown how to use these oh-so-cool prefolds and given several to try. So after my trip to the fabric store, I came home and made three diaper covers. The first one was a bust- really cute, but too small. The second one, however, was a hit. And the third, a hit as well. I am going to take some pictures of those asap and post them on here so you can see what the heck I am talking about!

And on a very exciting note (exciting in my world- probably super boring in yours) my mom has a serger and is giving it to me. She has NEVER used it. She got it because it was a good deal, but never ended up using it. Boooooyah.
